Glory of the Latter Day
GF David
Memorise: "Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert." — Isaiah 43:18–19 (AMP)
The message "Glory of the Latter Day" is a powerful reminder that God's presence is new every morning, and it's not just about time, but about new seasons. As the scripture says, "His compassions never fail; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23 AMP). This means that every day brings a new opportunity to experience God's presence and glory.
The glory of the latter day is greater than the former, and it's a time when God will pour out His Spirit and manifest His presence in a mighty way. As the prophet said, "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts" (Haggai 2:9 AMP). This is a time of great expectation, and we should position ourselves to receive the outpouring of God's Spirit.
However, our faith should not be based on people's experiences or testimonies, but on our personal relationship with God. As the scripture says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 AMP). We should focus on God and not on men, because men are fallible, but God is infallible.
The Bible warns us about the dangers of putting our faith in men, as seen in the story of the prophet who was prophesying falsely. We should be careful not to be deceived by false prophets and false teachings. As Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves" (Matthew 7:15 AMP).
The glory of the latter day is not just about experiences or manifestations, but about knowing God personally. As the scripture says, "They will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord" (Jeremiah 31:34 AMP). May we position ourselves to receive the outpouring of God's Spirit and experience the glory of the latter day.
Prayer/Confession:
Father, I thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning and for Your unfailing faithfulness. I confess that the glory of my latter day shall be greater than the former because Your presence is with me. My faith is rooted in Your Word alone, not in the experiences or opinions of men. I receive discernment to know You personally and to test every spirit by Your truth. I position myself for the outpouring of Your Spirit and the manifestation of Your glory, in Jesus' name.
